Dale Harvey tied his horse up outside the Lone Star, his hat low over his eyes. In truth, not many people knew what Death Dale looked like. Rumors had him at seven feet tall with eyes as red as the sun when it set. Dale fed into these rumors so he could walk into towns and not be noticed. He patted his horse on the nose and strolled into the saloon.
The place was not exactly buzzing but it was the middle of the afternoon. He looked around, checking to make sure the law was out of sight for the moment. When he was sure it was clear, he moved to the bar and sat himself down waiting to be served by one of the lovely ladies that worked here.

There really wasn't much to be done at the bar. There was really no one there and she was dressed up in her scarlet dress for nothing. Vix stretched out her arms, shaking her head a little.
She stepped out into the bar area, blinking as someone sat down. She sighed and tucked up her hair beneath her cowboy hat, looking over at Dale.
"What can I get you, darlin'?"

Dale looked up at the girl in the scarlet dress. He always loved girls in their finest. Made him think of flowers and gold, both things he liked. He liked women soft to the touch but with the hard edge that drove him crazy. He liked women in a much different way than he liked his men. He liked them rough against his skin but submissive against him. He liked his women to put up a little fight now and again.
"Shotta whiskey," he said. He looked the girl over with care. She spoke of hard luck and bad past and Dale could understand that just fine. Everyone had their ghosts some people's were just a little bigger and badder than other's. "And what's your name darlin'?" He asked, tilting his hat slightly.

"Comin' right up," Vix said with a small grin. She reached for the bottle of whiskey and poured it into a shot glass, setting it onto the counter in front of him. She adjusted her hat, stretching out her arms again and stifled a yawn with the back of her hand. In her years working here, she had never once seen this guy. Vix looked him over, giving him an extremely quick once over before humming quietly.
"My name? Call me Vix and may I ask for yours?"

The sun was still up, so Seamus was supposed to be working. He was supposed to be buying some supplies, in fact, boring stuff like rope. God knows they never seemed to have enough rope. But none of it was particularly urgent, and he reasoned that no one would notice if he went back to the ranch a little late.
He sat at the far end of the bar, perched on his stool with his legs stretched out before him, his usual whiskey about half empty. Or half full, maybe, if he was the type to wonder about such things. Which he wasn't.
He took another sip and raised his eyes when a man entered the saloon. Cowboy type. Unfamiliar fellow. He looked back down at the table until he heard the man ask for whiskey. Then Seamus gave a bit of a smirk to his glass. At least Cowboy had good taste.
((EDIT: Things got mixed up and I have to change it so that he left in this post. XD))
As he looked at his whiskey, his face fell. Probably time to get back to work. Reluctantly he drained the glass, thumped it back down on the bar, and slid off of the stool. He left his money and slouched out into the sunlight, headed in the direction of the general store.

"Vix," he played the name off his tongue as if sampling some fine red wine. He lifted his eyes and gave his head a light tip as if to say he approved. He doubted highly that was her real name. But hey, whatever she wanted so long as she gave him his drink.
"Name's Dale," he said. There was no need to pick another name. Pleanty of Dale's about. Besides, her was sure this good fer nothin' hick of a town would have no clue a man like him would want anything here other than a quick drink. They would learn soon.
"So tell me, Vix, what's a fella do 'round here fer a bit of a laugh?"

"Nice t' meet you, Dale." Vix grinned and picked up one of the glasses behind the bar counter and began wiping it down with a damp cloth. She hummed quietly, blinking as he addressed her again.
"What's a person do? Well 'm sorry Dale, there really ain't nothin' much for a person just wandering in here to do." She shrugged a little and placed the glass down. "Nights here get kinda crowded, we get a littl' band goin' and some dancin' goin' on but that's about it."

Elizabeth headed into the saloon with a mind to drink. She'd been quite good with avoiding the law lately and just made another nice steal a few towns over. She'd tied her horse up outside, though the thing was so obedient for her alone, that she doubted it would go anywhere at all. She had gotten it from a local Indian tribe that she befriended. It was smart, loyal and fit her petite frame perfectly, able to gallop hard and fast without throwing her around.
The place was not too crowded though there were a few men who easily looked like they'd been there since the early hours of the morning. Some men just liked to drink their lives away with the money they'd gotten from parents, etc. Elizabeth frowned a bit at seeing them, walked straight by and headed for a spot at the bar as she scanned the crowd. It was just something she'd picked up, looking for anyone that might cause trouble for her, such as rivals, the law, etc. No one looked too daunting except for the man a few stools down. She recognized him as the infamous Dale Harvey, but she said nothing, didn't even glance in his direction a second time and instead placed her order with the bartender and let that be that for the time being.

"Do ya dance?" Dale asked, tilting his head and smiling charmingly at Vix. "Pretty thing like yaself ever get up on that there stage and dance fer the fellas? Or are you the sort likes to not be looked at?" He took a slow, purposful drink of his whiskey. "Could look at you all day, sunshin."
When the doors flew open again, Dale didn't look around. He knew better than to act stiff that the slightest new movement. It gave the game away. Besidse he was faster than any other draw in the west, he could get whoever was stupid enough to come after him. When a girl sat down at the bar he knew he had nothing to worry about. Until he got a good look at her.
Elizabeth McCoy? Oh you had got to be kidding. What in the ruttin' hell was she doing here? He looked away and finished off the rest of his drink. Perfect. Now he was going to have to watch her while he went to work. She'd better not get in his damn way.

"Well of course I dance, but not very much." Vix grinned and laughed quietly. " 'm not the type to show off too much, after all...I've got to keep folks comin' don't I?" She brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes and stretches out her arms.
"I shouldn't really be even out here servin' you a nice cool drink but our bar keep's out sick, poor thin'.."

Whether Sara recognised Dale Harvey or Elizabeth McCoy or not was besides the point. The point was that she didn't give a rattlesnake's tail so long as they didn't steal her money or her livestock. So long as that line wasn't crossed, she would find them tolerable enough. But, nevertheless, Sara didn't recognise either outlaw. Besides, she wasn't exactly at the Lone Star on a social visit. She wanted to enjoy the break from the baby, of course, but she didn't have any particular aim as she meandered about town.
Except to retrieve her brother's wages. They were due, and she had bills to pay. Seamus would need his pay soon, and she had feed to buy. In order to do all this, she had to have every bit of currency accounted for. Whether Luke was sick or not, she had to have the money, and so she rode down to the Lone Star on her own. Hitching her fiesty mare out front and entering the saloon as if she belonged there. She had done her best to spruce up for a trip in to town, and given the means she had done an alright job. Sara Caid wasn't exactly struggling, but she was by no means rich, either. Tucking a curl behind her ear, she strode towards the bar to look for a friendly face.

Dale smiled at Vix's tale of the sick barman. "Well thank him for being sick for me, won't ya?" He lowered his chin and met her eyes. "Not every day man gets t' lay eyes on a woman as fine as yourself. The saloon was starting to get crowded and Dale wasn't one for crowds. He stood and finished his whiskey in one shot, putting some coin on the bar. "I'll be seeing ya 'round..... Vix."
He winked and was just existing when he heard a scream...

((Had to edit my previous post to make sense with the other RP going on. Seamus left. x3 Good thing, too, or he might have been in a bit of trouble with Sara...))

(OOC; Sara's following the crowd outside. Who can resist a scream? D: )
The curly-haired rancher turned abruptly at the scream that came from outside, and she didn't wait longer than it took to cast a distressed glance at the bartender before she followed in Dale's footsteps. Her hand was at her waist, where a pistol was resting hidden in the folds of her dress along with the bit of money she'd brought along. Whatever was happening outside had to be an entertaining way to spend her time away from home. Afterall, it wasn't often there was a commotion in the streets.

Elizabeth had been nursing her drink at the corner of the bar. She'd given Dale a few glances as he flirted with a local bartender by the name of Vix. She wasn't jealous, just interested. People watching was one of her favorite hobbies. She'd picked it up after traveling from town to town, she began to notice just how different some people were, depending on where they came from.
The sound of a scream from outside brought her from her thoughts and like most of the crowd, she followed outside to see what was happening. No one could resist some good 'ole chaos and Elizabeth was no different. Walking from the bar, following Dale and another young girl. They were obviously all the curious type.
