Name: Abigail Elizabeth Call
Nicknames: Abby
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Abby was not prepared to take over her parents' business. Not in the least. Nevertheless, she's found herself to be strong enough for the job as there is no one else to take it. A generally good girl, Abby is quiet spoken and well mannered, but if she needs to speak her mind she can sometimes manage to find the courage and scrape it out. She might be considered a God-fearing woman, except religion petrifies her. All that 'going to Hell' business has scared her straight through so she avoids the church save for obligatory times. She's not fidgety, but her demeanor suggests that she may be when she is elderly (if she lives that long), and unfortunately she can very easily be taken advantage of. Needless to say, her father is likely rolling over in his grave at the idea of his daughter running the Inn, but what're you gonna do?
Appearance: Standing at an average height of 5'5", with a medium build for a woman of the times (perhaps slightly on the thin side, but only because sometimes she forgets to eat, worrying about the inn), on paper Abby isn't much to consider. Her hair is long and luscious, however, a deep coffee hue and her eyes are a startling dark blue that shimmer a tad brighter in sunlight. She's a pretty little thing, if you can get her to look you in the eye, but she's unremarkable so long as her eyes are on her feet.
Occupation: Owner of the Red Skirt Inn.
Family:
Jacob Henry Call (father ; deceased)
Emily Elizabeth Call (mother ; deceased)
Short History: Is helping out Ty, a black cowboy who broke his leg, by giving him a job and a place to stay. (That's the short of it)
Abby came to be the innkeeper at Red Skirt by a matter of chance. She had worked there when she was younger, of course, until she and her parents managed enough money to send her to a fancy school up north with the Yankees. She was there for all of two years before the stagecoach conveying her parents from Austin to Horsehead was run amuck by Comanche. It was only chance that she ever even found out what happened to them, when a Ranger saw the smoke from the burning wreckage. So, with no one else to take over the inn and that bit of family pride just too damn much to ignore, Abby left the comforts of society to rough the west once again. Returned to Horsehead, she is finding it difficult once again to settle her quiet nature into an increasingly boisterous frontier while maintaining the Inn all the while.
